Steak, Onions and Peppers Wrap

I wanted to start the new year eating healthier than I have been for a little while now.  I wanted to make something quick, delicious and figure friendly.  I made this Steak, Onions and Peppers Wrap using all low fat ingredients and the wrap is low carbohydrates too.

There are a few different low carb wraps in the market.  I usually get the wheat low carb wraps, but they also have flour ones too.

I added lettuce, tomatoes, low fat sour cream and low fat cheese as toppings. You can always substitute the low carb wrap for lettuce wraps.

The top round steak was cooked perfectly.  I like a well done steak, but you can cook it anyway you like.  I then added onions and peppers.  You can substitute the steak for chicken if you prefer.

Ingredients

2 pounds top round steak thinly sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 green pepper cut into thin slices
1 red pepper cut into thin slices
1 tbsp soy sauce
garlic powder
onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
6-8 low carb wraps or lettuce wraps

Toppings

sliced tomatoes
sliced lettuce
low fat cheese
low fat sour cream

Heat a skillet on medium heat, add about 1 tbsp of olive oil .  Add the steak to the skillet and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.  Let cook for about 5 minutes, then add the soy sauce, onions and peppers.  Cook for about 10 minutes or until the steak is cooked to your preference.

Serve on the low carb wraps or lettuce wraps, finish with the toppings.
